We have gotten our first "Nor'easter". 

Just in case you have been living under a rock…

It was another abnormal October day in Massachusetts. Today I took a second trip on the Assabet River.  This time I started down stream in Hudson and paddled up for about an hour. The current in that area is slower and I ran in to a couple other kayakers.

Today we took a short drive in Southern New Hampshire.  We left home and meandered along route 140, to route 12 and entered New Hampshire. We turned in Keane on route 101 and then took route 124 up to Jaffrey. The colors were nice, but it seems we missed some of the peak areas. Some [...]

Today I decided to try out a different Kayaking spot.  Can you believe it is the end of October and still in the mid 70's here. This weather is awesome and I am taking advantage of it. I took a quick trip to the Assabet River and just near our house.

lately I've been fishing as much as possible.  While that only adds up to two or three times a week, it is still a lot of fun.  I've been to several different spots and had a wide range of luck in them
