Last Monday, Brad and I caught the subway down into Boston. When we arrived, it looked like everyone in the state was there. We walked down toward the finish line for the Boston Marathon. The day was totally gorgeous! It was warm , the sun was bright, the trees and flowers were blooming, and you could feel the energy and the excitement of the day. We walked our way down through the crowds as the runners started to come in. We got to see some of the wheelchair racers and the elite men. Of that group was Lance Armstrong. He ran right past us with a huge camera in his face-poor guy. Actually, he isn’t very poor is he. The whole experience was AMAZING! Towards the end of our stay, we were able to see herds of racers coming in. Everyone, except Brad, was cheering them on. Brad wasn’t being a party pooper, He had actually taken over the job as photographer because I was busy yelling! I CAN”T wait till I can run as one of the incredible athletes that gets the opportunity to experience this race. Way to go everyone!!!
