This past weekend Brad and I made an overnight trip into Boston. It was amazing! We have done a lot of traveling and we both agree that Boston is our favorite city. It is a really fun place and an extremely large city. We left Saturday morning on a mission to celebrate Brad’s 34th birthday. We took the subway into the South End and stayed at a hotel in the downtown area. We did quite a bit of sight-seeing. We walked over to Fenway Park, visited Harvard Square, MIT, the Boston Public Library, and once again took in the beautiful sights of Boston Common. Boston Common is a Boston version of New York City’s Central Park. God really blessed us with beautiful weather. It was actually pouring down rain when we left Saturday morning. By the time we arrived at Harvard, the sun was out and there was a light breeze. I will upload all the pictures I took this weekend. I got some really nice shots. The highlight of the trip for me was the male and female mallard ducks I saw swimming in the pond in the Public Garden. It was like a scene out of one of my favorite books-Make Way for Ducklings by Robert McCloskey. The book is about some mallard ducks that make a home in the Public Garden in Boston. Anyways, it was too cute and made me overjoyed. Ducks are my newest interest and item for collection. Brad seemed to have a good time too!
