Well, my prayer was not answered-today was NOT a snow day from work like I was hoping for. God obviously had other plans for me today.
Today did consist of several laboring issues like being a mediator for several first graders and kinders that were not getting along, leading the day’s devotion for our staff, getting my weekly homework packet ready for my class, giving a spelling test, and getting odds and ends tied up for two BIG celebrations I am holding for my kids next week-100′s day and a Social Etiquette party. Whew! As a teacher, I feel like I am never caught up, but constantly looking ahead to plan, reteach and enrich my student’s lives. I can’t even image what it is going to be like as a mom! Speaking of which, no I am not pregnant. BUT, Brad and I are in negotiations. This past year I have really felt my biological clock kick into overtime. The idea of having a little one really does excite me. Brad seems somewhat excited when we talk about it, but I can’t tell if it is sincere or if it really does terrify him. I know he will be a great dad someday. I have to have confidence that the Lord will put it in his heart when the time comes. I, of course, will keep you posted on this issue.
