lately I've been fishing as much as possible.  While that only adds up to two or three times a week, it is still a lot of fun.  I've been to several different spots and had a wide range of luck in them

Most of my initial fishing was on the A-1 Site in Westborough.  This is also known as Mill Pond (since it ison MillPond Road) and also known as the Assabet Reservoir. I caught a few bass there but nothing major.  I spent a lot of time paddling around there and enjoyed it.

Second on this year's list of fishing places is the Sudbury River.  The water level is very low and the fish have nothing to do except jump on my lure.  I've made several trips there and have good luck in the evening. One time I caught over 15 fish consisting of Sun Fish, Blue Gill, Perch, Bass, and Northern Pike. This is a really fun place to go and the action is pretty amazing right now.  I went there with our new neighbor one morning and watched him catch fish on a spinner.

Another day I took a trip to Qunisigamind Lake. I happened to show up on a fishing tournament day. Those guys with the large bass boats thought I was crazy, but I did catch two bass that day.  I paddled into the wind and drifted across Flint Pond (the lower portion of the lake).  That was a good workout!

As fall is taking over quickly I don't know how many more times I'll on the lake before I need to walk on rather than kayak on it. Luckily my new neighbor is into fishing too…and he already has some ice fishing gear.
