Today was an attempt at roller blading . . . . we survived without any broken bones, scrapes, or bruises. Trying to find a nice place to safely experiment was not difficult. Civano has a nice path around the outer parts of it so that is where we decided to try our luck.
As we drove up we opened the car doors and could hear sirens right off the bat. We were sure that they were already notified that we were there and chose to send the help before we even laced up the roller blades.
We started off a little shakey but ended up cruising right along. it was pretty fun and I could feel how it can work your legs pretty well.
As we were rolling along, Deanna's arms were waiving all over the place. Luckily for us, I didn't have to worry about missing a friendly wave to any people that passed by because they all thought she was waving at them.
