Well it is Thanksgiving time. Can you believe it is here already. Next think you know we’ll be celebrating Christmas and the New Year. Wow how time flies.
This year was the first Thanksgiving Deanna and I spent all alone. No, no, no. Don’t feel sorry for us. It was actually nice.
We went for a bike ride early in the morning with some new pals we met the day before and Rob (a not so new pal) . We only rode a little bit (~20 miles), but it was a nice ride.
We . . . uh I mean Deanna cooked up a super supper and we just enjoyed the time together with our two crazy labs. We had the usual Turkey (juicy turkey I might add), mashed potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes (yum yum), green beans and corn bread. It was simple, but delicious.
After dinner we took a nap – isn’t that what you are supposed to do? We got up and had seconds and wrapped the night up with a movie.
