Well, 2005 is finally here! We hope that everyone has been able to ease
back into their regular routines after a restful holiday season. Brad
and I are defintely settling back in.
Things have changed somewhat in the Schweitzer household. I, Deanna,
have started my student internship at a totally fabulous school on the
Northeast side of town. It is an "excelling" school in a great
neighborhood. The class I am working with are first graders and I
couldn’t have asked for a better bunch! My internship will be
completed in nine weeks.
Another adventure that I am pursuing is that of a Mary Kay beauty
consultant. I signed on with the help of a new friend, Alissa, who has
been very supportive and encouraging.
Brad is still busy as ever at work. He has taken a break from making
pens. He was able to sell quite a stack of them to people who were in
need of Christmas gifts.
We are looking forward to a backpacking trip in the near future as well
as a visit to Washington state to visit Darin, Sara, Bren and Alexia in
March. We hope to do some snow skiing on that trip-yeah!
