I am sure that you have read Deanna’s San Diego road trip story. Here’s the true version to set the record straight.
Friday night we started out on the road to San Diego. We arrived just before midnight and made decent time. The trip there was pretty uneventful.
As we started to haul the bags out of the car Deanna asked me, “Where is my yellow bag?” Of course I had an answer – “I don’t know. It is your bag. Didn’t you bring it?” One word of advice here guys, get your wife’s bag and you may want to double check to make sure it is loaded in the car. Well, anyway, “Why didn’t I grab the bag?” you ask. As I was grabbing my bag and one of Deanna’s other bags I saw her moving the yellow bag around. Of course I couldn’t tell she was just loading more stuff into it. Well, I figured she was going to grab it since she was moving it around. Then later when I made it out to the car, she was sitting in the passenger seat as if everything was ready to go. So I hopped in and we headed down the road…..the rest is history.
The bag we left had ALL of her clothes and our tickets and hotel information in it. No big deal. . . It is all material stuff. At least we still have each other. Right?
