Trip to San Diego

This weekend Deanna and I drove out to San Diego to hang out with Darin, Sara, Brendan and Alexia.  We had a great time as always.  This trip Deanna is staying since Darin is going out to sea and Sara could use some company for a while.  It will be a nice break for Deanna too since she just finished a whirl wind load of school and could use some awsome San Diego weather.

Saturday morning Deanna and I went for a jog and a little later Darin and I went for a bike ride.  San Diego is a pretty hilly place.  We didn't hit any crazy trails, but we had fun.  Later that same day we went to Brendan's year end preschool picnic.  Brendan had fun jumping in the castle and took a pony ride.  He even won a batch of cookies from the cake walk.  The last time he was in the jumping castle the sprinklers turned on.  Most of the kids thought it was part of the show and started to play in them.  They were turned of pretty fast, but it was exciting anyway.

On Sunday we all saw Darin off on the ship.  Later that day I started my trip back to Tucson.  I started missing Deanna before I even left San Diego.  I guess I will have to go visit on a regular basis.

Bailey and Brandon sure were happy to see me when I got home.  I think they are still waiting for Deanna though.
