After many tries, I was successful at making a pen out of some cactus. My dad and I worked on this thing Friday night and I finished it early Sunday morning. This is a Jr Gentleman’s Pen and there is a small amount of turquoise mixed in with the black glue. It is a unique pen and it probably would have ended up on the floor like all the rest of the cholla if my dad wasn’t there to slow me down a bit. I seem to try to rush these things a bit and he was there to remind me to be patient. Of course he had several hints and tips along the way too.
