Well, they finally made it. After months of planning and replanning my Dad and Anna made it to Tucson. Driving from Kansas is never fun and this trip ended up to be no exception. Just outside of Albuquerque is where it all happened.
As they were driving down the freeway a slight ruckus started with the trailer. Then all of the sudden one of the tires decided to make a break for it and race the truck. Of course it tidn’t win, but either did the truck. With a wheel missing it sure did make a mess of the remaining parts that were dragging along the road. The loss of the wheel set them back and extra day where they had to focus some time to get the trailer put back together. After the extra unexpected stop they were back on the road and arrived at our house on Wednesday evening. . . . A little off schedule . . . Luckily they are not operating on a tight schedule during this trip. We are glad they are here and the trailer incident didn’t turn into anything worse!
