Birdseye Mapel, Purple Heart, and Brazilian Roswood Jr Gent Pens

Today I made three Jr. Gentleman’s Pens. I really like these kits. They are simple to make and produce a very nice pen. The first was a stabilized birdseye maple from www.arizonasilhouette.com. At first I thought this stuff would be a little boring, but it polished to an awesome shine and had many “eyes” throughout the wood. The other two I made for a friend that supplied the wood. This was some Brazilian Rosewood that I cross-cut and some purple heart. All three of them turned out very nice.
