We are married and live in Tucson, Arizona. Deanna is originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, while Brad is a native Tucsonian. Deanna has recently completed the coursework for a post-baccalaureate degree in Elementary Education. Brad works with computers and makes hand-crafted pens.
We have two dogs – Bailey and Brandon. Bailey is a yellow labrador that is very energetic. He gets so excited when people visit with him. He looks as if he is going to burst into a million pieces. Brandon is a chocolate lab that loves to play fetch and will not stop until his legs quit working. Both of them love to go on hikes, walks, runs and rides. Some of the stuff we love to do together:
- Hang out with our dogs. This could be hanging out with them in the backyard, going for a hike, or going to Petsmart.
- Watching movies. Our favorite is to go to the drive-in movie theatre because we can take Bailey and Brandon!
- Physical stuff. Bike rides, hikes, or working in the garden.
- Re-do the inside of the house. Actually this is one of Deanna’s favorites, but Brad has to be involved to make sure things do not get out of hand.
We currently live in a house that we purchased the month before we got married. We have spent the past few years creating it into our home. It is one of our favorite places to be. Although we will always consider Tucson a special place, we are hoping to move out of state within the next couple of years. We are in search of some greener landscape and a closer drive to the beach. We are currently looking into the Sacramento area (which is only ninty minutes from San Francisco and South Lake Tahoe!) as well as the Atlanta, Georgia area, which would put us closer to our east coast family.
Deanna’s Favorite spot – the kitchen. She seems to always hang out in there brewing up some new secret recipe.
Brad’s Favorite spot – the garage. That is where the woodworking tools, the motorcycle, and the bicycles are.
